Calling all innovators in South Africa
Here is an opportunity for your product or service to be included in a new
book about innovations in South Africa. There is no charge for inclusion, which
is on merit alone. Interesting items which are original, enterprising or
important, can find a place in THE LEADING EDGE, to be published later this
year. The book is a follow-up to the success of THE
HIDDEN EDGE, which appeared in the year 2000 and gave its name to a London
exhibition promoting brand South Africa.
If you, your organization, or team members have invented, innovated, adapted
an existing technology or developed a new one, we would like to hear about it.
Just email us a BRIEF note giving basic information, including your contact
details, and you’ll hear from us. Include any website address or an attachment
summarizing the offering (small filesize please!). We are interested in any
sector, from mining to the arts, from medicine to corporate transformation. The
Leading Edge and The Hidden Edge (republished) are to appear together and will
be widely circulated in South Africa and beyond our shores. The author is former
Professor of Communication and award-winning science and business journalist,
Graeme Addison, and the publishers are the South African Engineering Association
(SAVI). The Leading Edge is to be launched at the Technology Top 100 awards in
November.
