One of the 2002 winners.Photography is an art, a craft and a science. Can you use these elements to capture on film the excitement and beauty of science and technology in South Africa? Then this competition is for you . The Mail & Guardian and the South African Agency for Science and Technology Advancement (SAASTA) have again joined forces to present the second round of South Africa's only photographic competition specifically aimed at illustrating and communicating the excitement and impact of science. Cash prizes totalling R60 000 are at stake! The competition is open to professional photographers and amateurs with an One of the 200 winners.enthusiasm for science, technology and medicine. Researchers, health professionals and educators, as well as young, aspiring photographers are also encouraged to participate.
