Science books for kids - from recycling on Earth to gazing at the stars

Sibo, is an accessible main character in a series of children's science books created by author Ginny Stone. In six books the energetic Sibo learns more about waste, water, recycling, the sea, plants, and in celebration of the International Year of Astronomy, 2009, also explores planets and the stars, in "Sibo in Space".

Each page is richly illustrated as the story-line unfolds, in rhyme, with fun facts bringing science understandably to a young readership.  Stone weaves valuable lessons into her storylines, creating an awareness of environmental issues, the world around us, the rewards of learning, and exploring practical and positive ways in which a younger generation can make a difference.

Published by "Let's Look", the books are printed with soy-based inks on environmentally friendly chlorine-free paper from sustainable forestry programmes.
